Description

these did not go where i originally planed them to go -_- when i saw :iconporkshanks: headphone mod ver. 02: [link] i knew that i wanted to do something like that. so i grabbed the headphones from my computer and looked at them. i got them back when i was in middle school about 7 or 8 years ago^^; they still work fine, but the cushion around the ears was starting to peal off (ewwwww) so i though i can use these! i knew i wanted to repaint them so i took a roll of plastic wrap and a lot of tape to mask off the important parts. i grabbed the industrial blue spay paint from my mom's spray paint collection. yes, you heard me right collection. she has over 30 cans of spray paint for some odd reason, anyway. i spayed the main components and was about to get my dad’s tools(no i don't really have any tool. yes, i borrow my parents supplies a lot) when i saw a metallic blue spray paint. my plans of industrial steam punk headphones were single handedly destroyed. i glued tin foil in the indented places on the headphones and i then masked off most of the rest of the headphones so that i could spray on the blue, a clear coat over that and i went onto the sewing... now i had to wait hours in between coats of paint, but i swear the sewing took longer-_- anyway many shows and new holes in my fingers later i had recovered the cushions with a light slivery fabric. then i was still going to try for a punk feel, so i pulled out all the chains and other bobbles i have collected over the years when i saw a bag with blue ribbon and silver rub-on's. now my plans for punk headphones went out the window. 10-15 minutes later i had what can only be called blue princess headphones-_- oh, well, i still like them at least. i'm totally going to rock these at the mall one day XD
